During the month of February 2012 For the month of February IVHS has partnered up with Pet Connections Inc. to host The Big Meow once again. It will be for the entire month. The Big Meow is a no-cost spay and neuter program for owned, free-roaming domesticated cats, to reduce cat overpopulation in our communities. To participate in this event, cat owners must make an appointment by visiting the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. 500 Humane Way, Pomona CA 91766. Appointments are limited to the first 300 cats, limit 3 per household. Cats must be between the ages of four month and seven years, live in our contracted cities and owners must show proof of residency. Each cat will not only be spayed or neutered at no charge, but each cat will also be micro-chipped, receive a free application for flea and tick control, and free vaccinations including FVRCP and rabies, to bring each cat current on immunizations. The Big Meow is open to residents of the following cities: Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Diamond Bar, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, San Dimas, and unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County including West End, San Antonio Heights, and Mt. Baldy. |
